Ultrasound imaging of the heart, including strain and GLS imaging to help detect subtle changes in heart function
Assessing how your heart performs under physical stress, commonly used to investigate coronary artery disease.
Wearable heart rhythm recording from 24 hours up to several weeks, used to investigate palpitations, dizziness and fainting.
Day and night blood pressure measurement during normal activities, used for hypertension diagnosis.
A 12 lead ECG with specialist reporting, including a reporting service for GPs.
Assessment for suspected high blood pressure, including target organ checks.
CT Coronary Angiogram (CTCA) and Coronary Calcium Score
These non invasive imaging tests provide detailed information about the coronary arteries. A CT coronary angiogram detects plaque build up that can narrow or block arteries, and is commonly arranged for patients with symptoms such as chest pain or abnormal test results. A coronary calcium score measures calcium in the artery walls to estimate future cardiac risk, and is particularly useful for people with risk factors but no symptoms. Both tests are performed at a specialist radiology centre and reported in conjunction with our cardiologists.
Cardiac Telehealth
For patients who find it difficult to attend in person due to distance, mobility or other barriers, we offer secure telehealth consultations with our cardiologists. Telehealth appointments support ongoing management of your heart health with the same specialist oversight as an in-clinic visit. Medicare rebates may apply for eligible telehealth consultations; our reception team can confirm your eligibility when booking.

Bulk billing is available for eligible patients with a valid Medicare referral. Eligibility can depend on the type of test or consultation, so please confirm with our reception team when booking.
Not always. Your cardiologist can arrange further testing during your care where clinically appropriate. Medicare places limits on how often some tests, such as echocardiograms and stress tests, can be rebated when requested by a GP.
Most diagnostics, including echocardiograms, Holter monitoring and ECGs, are performed on site at Springwood or Yarrabilba. CT coronary angiograms and calcium score tests are performed at a specialist radiology centre and reported with our cardiologists.
Reports are sent to your referring GP after your test is reviewed. Urgent or significant findings are communicated to your GP as a priority.
